A big hike every year

Turning 26 and spending 4hrs hiking up a glacier got me thinking about making this a yearly tradition of pushing myself to be better - physically and mentally.

We somehow formed an Asian group, consisting 2 other groups of Chinese tourists and ourselves. It was my first time seeing and touching a glacier and I was just in awe at how beautifully blue it was. Walking on ice with crampons do be tough, there was a lot of balancing and leaning back to be done. And by the halfway mark, I was starting to ache but no we had more crevasses to explore. So I continued on and I was glad I wasn’t the only one aching on this hike. Something about being one with nature having to kick in your survival mode really does reset you in a way and I loved it despite the ache.

So here I am trying to make myself accountable.
