Summers in Cinque Terre
Italian summer is meant for gelatos, tanning and cooling off in the ocean.
Shades of crystal clear greens and blues inviting you to take a dip. You do go in to cool off, an hour turns to two but the waters rocks you ever so gently to its lullaby and you just let the calmness wash over.
Sunsets here have been amazing too. Hues of yellow and orange turn to pink and purple before darkness takes over. And yet you can still find every other colour in the houses littering these villages.
I did manage to jump off the cliff in Manarola and wow it was exhilarating despite how I did not intend to climb so high up and the hesitation I had up there. To be scared yet taking that jump, I hope to be always this courageous in life.
But it do be overrun by tourists but man does it still have its charm.
